We need volunteers in several areas of our business:
As host in the Art space, you are our face outward. You tell our visitors about ongoing exhibitions and manage the shop and café. Working hours are often Saturdays or Sundays between 10.30am and 4.30pm. You choose when and how often you want to work.
As a construction assistant, you work with simpler construction tasks before the opening of a new exhibition. It can be painting, sanding and building simpler structures. Here you work closely with the curator and artist. We build exhibitions about six times a year and the work usually goes on intensively for about a week, but you choose how often you want to work.
(Swedish required) Are you good at formulating yourself in written text and like order and clarity? Are you a communicator or attending an education in communication and media? As a communicator volunteer, you work with our membership register, our website, our newsletters and press releases.
Do you like graphic design? Österängens Konsthall has a design language that stands out – help make it even sharper by designing posters, programs and more.
Have you attended, or are you attending, an artistic or pedagogical education? Then you can help us in our kid’s workshop, which is open Sundays and school holidays. Here children aged 6-12 can create and discover their creativity.
Tech and IT
Do you know all about audio and imaging? Then we need you! Our exhibitions are often technically demanding and we also need help with technology at different types of events. We also have great use of someone who is IT savvy – we want to hear from you!
Does this sound like something for you? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be in touch!
