Danska konstnärsgruppen Becoming Species slår sig ner i Österängens konsthall och bjuder in alla intresserade – barn, unga och vuxna – att bygga ett fågelbo.
kl 11.00:
Vi bygger av återvunna tygrester och upphittade träpinnar. Boet har många olika former och kommer att byggas utifrån fri fantasi och improvisation. Under en drop-in workshop kommer boet att växa och spridas vilt och ohämmat.
kl 13.00: Performance, Becoming Species.
Boet som vi byggt tillsammans under workshopen blir en scen för en performance av Becoming Species där tre nyfödda, förvandlade fågelmänniskor kommer att dyka upp och möta världen för första gången. De flyger runt och visar upp sina speciella färdigheter och attribut.

11.00: Workshop with Danish artist group Becoming Species.
Becoming Species settles down in Österängen’s Art Hall and invites everyone interested – children, young people and adults – to build a nest from recycled fabric scraps and found wooden sticks. The nest has many different shapes and will be built based on free imagination and improvisation. During the 2-hour drop-in workshop, the nest will grow and spread wildly and uninhibited.
13.00: Performance, Becoming Species.
The nest will now become a stage for a 20-minute performance of Becoming Species where three newborn, transformed bird people will emerge and meet the world for the first time. They fly around showing off their special skills and attributes.
