Studio476 – a space for everyone

Studio476 is our experimental space where any of our members* can book a two week long exhibition. Become a member!

The space consists of a wall that is 440 cm long and 240 cm high and is in the study room of the Österängens Library, which has an entrance to  Österängens Konsthall. The wall is covered with a perforated pegboard painted a muted pink and equipped with various suspension devices (hooks, small shelves, rubber bands, etc.)

You hang your exhibit yourself and you are responsible for the invitation to any opening event and marketing in social media. You provide Österängens Konsthall with a short text and a high resolution image so that we can promote your exhibition on our website. You are also responsible for taking down your exhibition at the end of the period. Österängens konsthalls insurance does not cover artwork in Studio476.

Your exhibition lasts for two weeks. You book your place in our booking system, it is open when there are periods available. Observe that this booking system is open during a short period, the slots are quickly filled as it is a matter of first come, first served.

A maximum of one exhibition per person and year can be booked, and if you booked a period in 2024 you must wait for 2026 to book again.

Note! During certain periods, the art hall will be closed for some days for remodeling. Your exhibition will still be available through the library entrance!

* Exhibiting in Studio476 is free for our member, you can be a regular member for 200 SEK or a support member for 100 SEK. If sevral people exhibit together only one of you needs a membership.
